                        Precisely December 28th, as my Delta flight from New York City was making the last announcement before landing at Murtala Mohammed Airport Lagos, in my sixth trip to Nigeria in 2019, my mind zoomed off to the realities of Nigeria, the ills, the uglies and the few goods in the horizon. I imagined what will become of Nigeria in the next decade if radical change and transformation is not implemented. I wondered how 2030 Nigeria will be for the our teaming young population and our rural poor. Apart from the much needed rest and recuperation from the grueling journey (combination of flight plus rough road) from Lagos through Asaba to Enugu, socializing topped it all as my Umuezaboshi Umunna hurriedly scheduled emergency meeting the moment they heard about my return.
