GLOOMY AND UNRECOGNIZABLE FACES AT CHIME'S DEFECTION RALLY

PICURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS


The wise saying that a picture is worth thousand words came to light at the badly organized rented crowd that graced the lone defection of former Governor of Enugu State, Barrister Sullivan Chime. The pictures are so gloomy that you cannot recognize the faces.  This was done on purpose so as to disguise the rented crowd as the people of Udi made strong decision to stay with the incumbent Gov. Ugwuanyi. Take a look at each of the picture and see if you can find     anybody you know

Gov. Chime has boosted of thousands of supporters pestering him to make the tepid political move but on the day of defection sadly only Chime and Chime himself made the lonely defection to the APC -Aboki Peoples Congress. The lone defection is come and gone.  Enugu State is still in the strong grip of PDP under the leadership of Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, DSP Ekweremadu as evidenced by the solidarity visit to Gov. Ugwuanyi by the great People of Udi Local Government Area.  See Next

In pensive sadness with visible melancholy the women were singing this unique song as we were trekking to the long distant stream to fetch water shortly after the war.  The song went like, “ Chime ti nye mmiri gbom gbo ti ti gbom gbom, agu mmiri agugbuo Egede, gbom gbo ti ti gbom gbo.  Chime ti nye mmiri gbom gbo ti ti gbom gbo…..” In childhood curiosity one of the kids asked the adults who was this Chime that did not provide water for our community. They said Chime was a big politician in the mold of Odenigwe, Agballa, Onoh and others, who promised to provide water and even asked them to make contributions before the Biafran war.  But unfortunately, the promises were never kept.
